2013 Chevrolet Spark

Chevrolet Spark - Front Angle, 2013, 800x600, 5 of 24
"Safe, affordable, versatile and stingy at the pump”
The Chevrolet Spark is expected to arrive in the U.S by mid-2012 as a 2013 model. The tiny Chevy, at just 144.7 inches long, is the smallest vehicle in the Chevy lineup, and is going to be a main competitor versus the likes of the Smart Fortwo and the Fiat 500.
So what is the main feature for the 2013 Chevy Spark? It comes equipped with a 7” diagonal touch-screen that’s compatible with Bluetooth devices, allowing hand free phone calls. The touch screen can also play videos or check out photos as long as the vehicle is not running.
If this impressive infotainment system isn’t enough, the Chevy Spark will be a Fuel Mileage monster. The 2300-pound Chevrolet Spark will be powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine that gets about 85 horsepower and 82 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy ratings are expected to exceed 30 mpg in the city, 40 on the highway. The 2013 Chevy Spark will come standard with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic as an option.
If a great infotainment system and great fuel economy isn’t enough for you, the 2013 Chevy Spark also comes well protected.
The 2013 Spark will come equipped with OnStar call assist in case of collision, as well as a 5-year/160,000-km powertrain guarantee. Safety equipment for the 2013 Spark will include 10 standard air bags. Safety features such as these have won the Chevy Spark awards in Europe and Korea - where the vehicle is already on the market.

The 2013 Chevy Spark will be equipped with the StabiliTrak stability control system with brake assist, for a more comfortable ride for both the driver and passengers.

One cool aspect that was built into this car is that the rear door handles were ‘hidden’ in the C-pillar to give the Spark a sportier, two-door appearance. Don’t worry though, the 2013 Chevy Spark fits 4 comfortably, with the back being able to fit those 6 feet and over. The2013 Chevy Spark will be equipped with 15 inch alloy wheels/

Exterior styling for the 2013 Chevrolet Spark includes the choice of the following colors: Salsa, Jalapeno, Denim, Lemonade and Techno Pink.
If you are looking for more traditional colors, the 2013 Chevy Spark also has more subdued tones as options, they are: Black Granite Metallic, Silver Ice Metallic and Summit White.

Inside the 2LT version, you’ll find heated leatherette front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. For better visibility in particular, the dash and instrumentation sizes have been decreased.

Although prices for the 2013 Chevrolet Spark haven’t been set for the American market yet, you can expect an MRSP between $12,500 and $14,000.
