The 2013 Chevrolet Traverse will see one more redesign from the 2012 version. Known for having a great track record of fuel performance and value, the 2013 Traverse will continue the trend.
The Chevrolet Traverse provides users with a smooth design using a sloping roofline and from Chevrolet’s latest design a split-mesh grille rendered through the highlighted bow-tie. The Chevrolet Traverse will be available to fit 8-passengers with a 2nd row bench, or a 7 passenger option with captain’s seats within the 2nd row.
The 2013 Chevy Traverse will come in 4 trims: LS, LT1, LT2 and LTZ.
The LS trim comes equipped with air conditioning, power locks, power windows, cruise control, tilt steering wheel and Bluetooth connection.
The LT1 trim provides users with a 8 way adjustable driver’s chair, a natural leather wrapped steering wheel holding the audio controls, ultrasound back park support and also 18 inch lightweight aluminum wheels.
The LT2 will take the 2013 Traverse even further by adding natural leather chairs, an electric power remote lift gate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a back-view digital camera system, rear seat sound controls, plus a Bose 10-speaker audio system. The LTZ symbolizes the more luxurious side of the Traverse by also adding heated/cooled front chairs, a power passenger chair, 20 inch aluminum wheels and more.
The Traverse will be available as either a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and will feature a 3.6L direct-injection V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that is able to generate 281 HP and 288 HP with the LTZ version.
Looking at safety features, the 2013 Chevy Traverse will come equipped with the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, OnStar’s Automatic Crash Response system, traction control, tire pressure checking, and also 6 airbags which include dual-stage front part, driver and traveler seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and head-curtain side-impact air bags for all the three rows.
